Dunn, NC: Mrs. Joyce Webb Tart, age 86, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Senter’s Rest Home in Fuquay-Varina. Graveside Services will be 11:00AM, Monday, January 4, 2020 at the Young Family Cemetery in Benson. Pastor Leon Tart will officiate.
Mrs. Tart was born January 30, 1934 in Harnett County to the late Groveland and Vada Moore Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Billy” Tart; her daughter, Sharon Tart Edelman. Mrs. Tart was a floral designer for over 37 years in Fayetteville and a loving Army wife. She was also a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Tart was a devoted member of Jonesboro Baptist Church in Dunn and loved her church family and friends.
Surviving include her grandsons, David Edelman and wife, Dawn of Palmyra, VA and Daniel Edelman both of North Hollywood, CA; son-in-law, Samuel Edelman of Stafford, VA.
Mrs. Tart will be available for you to view and sign the register book from 12:00PM-5:00PM Sunday, January 3, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
