Smithfield – Judith Ann Bullock passed into Heaven on July 17, 2020 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Ann had lived her complete life in Smithfield, North Carolina. She graduated from Smithfield-Selma Senior High School in 1977. Her studies continued at Johnston Community College and Raleigh School of Data Processing. She worked for the State of North Carolina as a data entry clerk for a period. Ann continued employment as a bank teller working for First National Bank and First Citizens Bank and Trust, both of Smithfield. Many years she operated as an independent professional cleaner doing both commercial and residential cleaning.
Ann loved being with family and enjoyed any gathering of her extended family. Always with a smile on her face, she never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. Not having children of her own, her nieces and nephews filled that void.
Unfortunately, non-alcoholic Cirrhosis of the liver complications shortened her life. Ann’s sister and brothers were comforting her when she transcended into Heaven. She will be missed by her siblings and friends but is now reunited with her parents who preceded her in death.
Ann was the daughter and youngest child of John H. Bullock, Sr. and Penny H. Bullock and was born on September 24, 1959. She was the sister of John H. Bullock, Jr. (Rebecca) of Clayton, Gay B. Daughtry (Walter) and W. Landis Bullock (Paula), both of Smithfield. Her nieces and nephews include Jill Leigh Bullock, Joshua F. (Collynn), Jordan W. Finch (Ashley) and eight great nieces and nephews.
If Ann could, she would want to thank the many medical professionals who treated her during the decline of her health and to her friends and relatives, live life as if you were joining her tomorrow.
