Wallace, NC: Mrs. Kathleen Nelson Miles, age 84, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Mary Gran Nursing and Rehab in Clinton. A Private Funeral Service will be held. Mrs. Miles was born on March 4, 1936 in Alabama to the late Algee and Glennie Griggs Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Braxton Miles, son, Roy Eugene Carnley, grandchildren, Michael Walker and Kevin Walker and several siblings. Mrs. Miles was a retired seamstress and homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Theresa Walker and husband, Arthur, and Debbie Walker all of Alabama; David Miles and wife, Cathy of Bunnlevel and Kathy Raynor and husband, Dean of Wallace; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.
