PRINCETON – Kenneth R. Hester, age 66, died Friday afternoon, August 25, 2017 in the Kitty Askins Hospice House. He was born November 28, 1950 in Johnston County to the late James Elton and Margaret Nadell Cockrell Hester. Kenneth was a Safety Coordinator with Stackhouse, Inc. and later with MasTec. He was a member of the Princeton Baptist Church and a retired member of the Princeton Fire Department after more than 30 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Pastor Matthew Cornett officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Lee Hester; sons, Jason Hester and wife Karra Kay and Derek Hester and wife Tara all of Princeton, Ben Hester and wife Hope of Nahunta and Josh Hester and wife Amber of Pine Level; brother, Harold Hester and wife Debbie of Princeton; sister, Barbara H. Daughtry and husband Thomas of Princeton and eight grandchildren, Ruthie Hester, Liam Hester, Andrew Hester, Avery Hester, Samuel Hester, Sawyer Hester, Caden Paugh and Maxton Paugh.
