Pine Level – Graham Kester Kornegay, age 77, died Tuesday evening, October 2, 2018 at his home. Born May 14, 1941 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Graham Herbert and Mavis Brown Kornegay. He was preceded in death by a son, David Eugene Kornegay; brothers, Winslon Kornegay and Carroll Kornegay; and sisters, Freddie Joan Wright and Sandra Kornegay.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Burial will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his son, Danny Earl Barbee and wife Bonnie of Princeton; grandchildren, Eric Barbee and Brian Barbee and wife Leslie; and great grandchild, Gavin Barbee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
