L. M. Renfrow, age 87, of Selma passed away at his home on November 10, 2017. Born in Johnston County on September 17, 1930, he was the son of the late Marvin and Lanzie Starling Renfrow. His wife was the late Louise Childers Renfrow. Mr. Renfrow was a US Army veteran and a member of the Smithfield Moose Lodge. He loved to play pool and play his guitar.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield.
Surviving are his daughters, Sherry Garner of Selma, Darlene Coor of Smithfield, Jamie Renfrow of Selma, Tammy Bunn and husband Alvin of Selma, Penny Johnson of Four Oaks, Amber Parrish of Selma; his sister Lee Cox of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Chris Perry, Nikki Taylor, Jessica Kiziah, Jason Cummings and Brent Coor; and his canine companion Taylor.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 to 8 PM.
