Selma- Larry Donald Hicks, age 75, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home. Born January 24, 1942 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Offie and Mattie Barham Hicks. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kirby Hicks, Steve Hicks, and Bobby Hicks; and sisters, Kathleen Jones and Retha Corbett.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Nowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday just prior to the service.
Surviving are his companion of 24 years, Beverly Christian; daughter, Samantha Parker of Selma; brother, Danny Hicks and wife Vickie of Selma; and sisters, Brenda Benson of Micro and Shirley Byrd and husband David of Four Oaks.
