Lea Massengill Broadwell, age 73, died Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at her home. Born April 11, 1947 she was a daughter of the late W.R. and Lucille Barbour Massengill. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Shelby Broadwell; and brother, Ronnie Massengill.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Selma Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glenn Strickland officiating.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Eugene Broadwell; son, Trenton Broadwell and wife Amberly of Pine Level; grandchildren, Megan Broadwell, Eleanor Broadwell, and Brittany Broadwell; sisters, Kaye Horton and husband Edward, Elaine Williamson, and Faye Parrish all of Clayton; sister-in-law, Marie Johnson and husband Tom of Cary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
