Dunn, NC: Ms. Leta G. Young McLamb, age 85, of 3130 Jonesboro Road, died Tuesday at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Service will be Friday 2:00PM at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Leon Tart. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Ms. McLamb was born March 11, 1931 in Johnston County to the late Ernest and Lessie Webb Young. She worked twenty-five years at Morganite and was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson.
Surviving are son, Jerry Ervin McLamb of Coats; daughter, Dorotha M. Haynes of Powhatan, VA; sister, Shirley Young Lee of Dunn; grandchildren, Russell Ervin McLamb and Tammy Hayes; great-grandchildren, Melissa Otto and Eric Little; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday 12:30PM – 1:30PM prior to the service at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church and other times at the home.
