Kenly-Linda Annette Weaver Boyette, 76, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Accordius Health at Wilson. Born in Johnston County on November 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late C.R. “Bill” Weaver and Gladys Barnes Weaver.
Linda was a skilled seamstress and worked for several years at Johnson & Johnson in Kenly. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. Linda was a lady of many talents; she was a skilled artist, hairstylist, and a phenomenal cook. She enjoyed decorating her home, especially at Christmas. Linda had a friendly, outgoing personality and was often the life of the party. She was a member of Kenly Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Kenly Funeral Service, followed by a service to celebrate her life in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with her nephew, Rev. Jonathan Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in the Kenly Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rudolph Boyette; sons, Sammy Boyette (Heather) of Kenly and Danny Boyette (Debbie) of Hollister; grandchildren, Daniel Ethan Boyette, Travis Boyette, and Alex Boyette; siblings, Melvin Weaver (Marian) of Leesburg, FL, Alice Faye Hooks of Moncure, Richard Weaver (Jean) of Kenly, her twin sister, Brenda Wall of Four Oaks, Audrey Stott (Freddie) of Sims, Carol Pearce (Linwood) of Four Oaks, and Mary Winslow (Tim) of Maggie Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Weaver and sister, Elizabeth Weaver.
