Linda Mae Dixon , 81, of Princeton passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born February 25, 1938 to the late James Andrew “Bud” Dixon and Ida Mae Little Dixon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Morris Ray Dixon and James Person Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 7:00 pm with the Reverend Steve Grice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:oo pm until 7:00pm on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel.
Linda is survived by sons, Eddie Johnson and wife, Lori of Pine Level, Jimmy Capps of Clinton and Ray Capps and wife, Angela of Kenly; daughter, Darlene Keene and husband, Gary of Kenly; brother, Robert Dixon of Selma; sisters, Hilda Futch, Sandra Dixon, Diane Moody and Kathy Wood all of Pine Level; 3 grandchildren, Chase Gurley, Lauren Johnson, and Chasney Foster and husband, Travis; step grandchildren, April Massey and husband, Todd; great grandchild, Carter Foster; step great grandchildren, Hope Massey and Ethan Massey, and a special granddaughter, Cailey Adams; special family friends, Robin Gurley, Jean Moore, Kathy Capps Jernigan and Brooke Sherman.
