Wilson – Louise Jones Phillips, age 84, died Wednesday night, September 12, 2018 in Curis Wilson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wilson. Born September 27, 1934 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Clayborn and Lillie Batten Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Phillips; son, Larry Kenneth Phillips; and grandson, Brad Kenneth Phillips. Louise was a member of Lucama Independent Church.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Micro Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Bunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are her sons, Randy Phillips and wife Kathy of Wilson, Johnny Phillips of Kenly, and Michael Phillips and wife Melissa of Bailey; daughter, Debbie Finn of Simms; sister, Faye Harper of Kenly; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
