Lucille Howell Pearce Hinnant
Lucille Howell Pearce Hinnant, 90, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born on November 12, 1928 in Johnston County to the late John Richard Howell and Minnie Stella Massengill Howell Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ezra Pearce and her second husband, Lester Howard Hinnant. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the chapel of Princeton Church of God with the Reverend Matthew Cornett and the Reverend Stuart Coffman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the Student Center of Princeton Church of God. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of Betty and Glen Starling, 203 Dr. Donnie H. Jones, Jr. Blvd. East, Princeton, NC 27569
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Joe) Pearce and wife, Brinda of Smithfield; daughters, Frances P. Talton of Princeton, Betty Starling and husband Glen of Princeton, Bonnie Barbee and husband, Danny of Princeton; sisters, Elizabeth Lewis of Goldsboro, Sarah Rains of Mebane and Mary Herring of Asheboro; grandchildren, Michael Starling and wife, Cynthia, Rob Talton and wife, Donna, Eric Barbee, Brian Barbee and wife, Leslie; great grandchildren, Nate Starling, Gavin Barbee, Jacob Talton and Joshua Talton.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Pruitt Health and Hospice, SECU Hospice House – Johnston and the many family and friends for all of the prayers, love and support shown to us during this most difficult time.
