Mr. Manuel Santana Garcia, Sr., age 62, of 4525 Fairground Road, passed away on September 27, 2021 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M.-Friday, October 1, 2021 at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC.
Mr. Garcia was born on April 2, 1959 in Los Terrones, Guerrero, Mexico to Benito and Salomé Santana. Garcia. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesus Garcia Sr. and sister, Catalina Vargas Santana. He was the founder of Tacos El Corral Restaurant and Food Trucks of Benson, NC.
Surviving include his wife, Rebecca Garcia; daughter, Socorro Hernandez and husband Benito; sons, Manuel Garcia Jr. and wife Carla and Juan Garcia and wife Samira; grandchildren, Jesus Garcia Jr, Jada Breshae Byrd, Jayden Alexander Byrd, Pricila Cruz, Valentin Manuel Serrano, Jessie Isidra Garcia, Isabella Grace Garcia, Manuel Jaxon Garcia, Roman Jose Garcia, Raul Mateo Arévalo, Elias Abdel Garcia, and Elena Amaya Garcia; sister, Cirila Gomez Santana; brother, Franciso Lopez Santana; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
