Margaret Gray Moore Williford, 91, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born September 26, 1925 to the late Jack Moore and Maude Lucas Moore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Ellis Williford, sons, Jack Ellis Williford and Johnny Williford; brother, Lynwood (Pete) Moore; sisters, Catherine Calhoun, and Beatrice Rugg. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Selah Church Cemetery with the Reverend Tom Dorman officiating.
She is survived by sons, Clarence Douglas Williford of Rosewood, Phillip Ray Williford and Anthony Lee Williford both of Princeton; daughters, Carol Snipes of Goldsboro, Diane Dawes of Goldsboro, and Ida Williford of Dudley; sister, Geraldine Lancaster of Goldsboro; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home Chapel. At other times the family will be at the home of Diane Dawes, 4230 Stevens Mill Road, Goldsboro, NC.
