Princeton – Marie Hinnant Starling Spivey, age 77, passed away at her home in Princeton Thursday night. Marie was born August 29th 1940 to Milford Monroe and Alma Hinnant Starling. Marie was an assembler at Eaton Corporation for many years, as well as an employee at JR’s for several years. She is survived by her husband Ralph Spivey, Sr., of the home, son Junior Spivey and wife Gail of Wilsons Mills, Son Michael Spivey of Four Oaks, and brother Worth Starling and wife Rosemary of Clayton. Grandchildren Derrick Spivey, Michelle Edwards, Jon Murphy and great grandchildren Taylor, Madison, Preston Edwards.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at Oliver Cemetery in Pine Level with Rev. Duane Batten officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
