Clayton – Marie Sullivan Lynch, age 71, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. Born May 18, 1948 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Millard and Ersell Murphy Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wade Sullivan and J.C. Sullivan; sister, Margie Stevens; and nephew, Greg Braswell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Sullivan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Parrish Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Daylon Lynch; daughters, Karen Ladd and husband Allen of Wendell, and Tammy Carlisle and husband Phil of Angier; brothers, David Sullivan and wife Mamie of Selma, and Junior Sullivan of Wake Forest; sisters, Vivian Braswell and husband George of Selma, Helen Jones of Clayton, and Esther Thornton and husband Gene of Newport News, VA; grandchildren, Bradley Ladd and Nolan Carlisle; great grandchildren, Chase Ladd; and many nieces and nephews.
