Princeton- Marvin Harvey Leagan, age 74, was called home by his Heavenly Father Friday morning, May 15, 2020 at his home. Born June 12, 1945 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Jack Harvey and Gladys Brown Leagan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacquelyn Leagan Cunningham. Marvin was a longtime member of Wilson’s Mills Baptist Church. He was a retired self-employed realtor in Johnston County and an avid hunter and fisherman. Marvin enjoyed hunting and target shooting with his friends in Virginia and he loved traveling the country. A private graveside service will be conducted in the Monticello Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA. Surviving are his sons, Andy Leagan of Virginia, Brian Leagan and wife Shawn of Smithfield and Jeff Leagan and significant other, Elizabeth Brock of Kenly; grandchildren, Brianna Leagan, Reilly Leagan, Rachel Leagan, Layne Leagan, Taylor Leagan, Victoria Leagan, Emily Leagan and along with Elizabeth’s daughters, Kacie, Raegan and Avereigh Elizabeth who have come to know Marvin as “Papa” in the last couple months and spent many hours as loving companions and brightening his days. A special thanks to Elizabeth for being Marvin’s caregiver, chauffeur and best buddy.
