Four Oaks: Mr. Marvin Lee Pendergraph, age 72, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his home. Graveside Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Wilson Family Cemetery in Kenly.
Mr. Pendergraph was born on April 6, 1947 in Johnston County to the late Oscar Pendergraph Sr. and Sudie Mitchell Pendergraph. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Wallace Pendergraph, grandchildren, Sarah and Janiece Martinez, and Maria Serafina Martinez, sisters, Janice Ward and Carolyn Pendergraft, brother, John Buck Pendergraft. Mr. Pendergraph was a retired truck driver and attended Baker’s Chapel Church.
Survivors include his children, Sue Lopez and Tracy Martinez both of Four Oaks; Henry Pendergraft and Sarah Cruz both of Princeton and Frances Hernandez of Kinston; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Oscar Pendergraft, Jr, Joy Pendergraft, Wayne Pendergraft, and Bobby Pendergraft; sisters, Lib Talton and Linda Busbee; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
