Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Marvin “Mark” Glenn Hill, Jr., age 50, of Keene Road passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Services will be 3:00PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Piney Grove PFWB Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Elder Tony Parker.
Mr. Hill was born on April 7, 1970 in Duplin County. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Glenn Hill, Sr. Mr. Hill worked as a supervisor with the City of Raleigh.
Surviving are his children, Mara Benson and husband, Aaron of Four Oaks, Marisa Hill and husband, Cameren Allen of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Layla Benson, Theodor Allen; mother, Lavearn Beasley Rhodes and husband, Bo of Smithfield; step-father, Willis Slaughter of Smithfield; brothers and sister, Daryl Slaughter of Smithfield, Michael Hill of Winston-Salem, Timmy Hill of Greensboro, and Susie Johnston of Kenansville; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service and other times at the home of Mara and Aaron Benson, 2768 Elevation Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
