Mother Mary Alice Bunch earthy life came to a close on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Pruitt Health and Rehabilitation Center. God smelled the aroma and picked the rose from the garden and said “My daughter come.” Mother Bunch was born June 22, 1927, to her late parents Willard Turner and Glendora Adam Turner.
Mother Mary Bunch received the Lord at an early age and joined Saint Anna Freewill Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board, president of the choir, and did many great things for the Lord. She later moved her membership to her beloved brother’s church, Greater Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church, and continued working faithfully for the Lord until her health declined.
Mother Bunch was an all time great domestic worker and was never with-out a job. She received her education at Short Journey Schools in Johnson County Schools.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Willard and Glendora Turner. Precious memories will be cherished by her: Brother Dr. Ruffin Turner, Sr., nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great -nephews, many family and a host of other relatives and friends.
