Ms. Mary Magdalene Smith, age 90 was born Oct. 22, 1927 in Smithfield, NC to Catherine Smith-Hines. Ms. Mary transitioned on Thursday Nov. 30, 2017 while a resident at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC.
In addition to her mother Mrs. Catherine Smith-Hines, Ms. Smith was predeceased by a brother Donnell Hines, two sisters; Alberta Hines, Mamie Furlow, one son Arthur Smith Jr., and one daughter; Mary Louise McCoy. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly McClamb, one son; Robert Smith, several grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends
Funeral Services will be held at New Generation Christian Church, 4423 Wilson’s Mills Rd, on Saturday, December 9th, 2017. Public visitation will be Saturday from 12-1pm, with funeral services to follow at 1pm.
