Mary Sanders Uzzell, 90 formerly of Princeton, passed away at Classic Care of Smithfield on Monday, January 16, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Morgan Sanders and Kizzie Martin Sanders. She was also preceded in death by two sons, James R. Hargis and Clarence Hargis as well as an infant; brothers, Ralph and Roy Sanders and a sister, Carolyn Howell. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm in Casey Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dewayne Batten officiating. The burial will take place in Princeton Cemetery on January 19, 2017 at 10:00 am.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Wendy Hargis of Princeton; sisters, Latitia Caprell of Raleigh, and Joyce Gwaltney of Goldsboro; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm on January 18, 2017 at Casey Funeral Home Chapel.
