Princeton – McCaggie Livingston “C.L.” Williford, age 85, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born February 9, 1932 in Wayne County he was a son of the late Richard Bowden “Pete” and Ida Smith Williford. C.L. was a member of Holt’s Pond Church of God of Prophecy in Princeton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Lola Howell Williford; son, Bryant Williford and wife Cathy of Grantham; daughters, Teresa Williford Hughes and husband Arthur of Princeton, and Alisa Williford and her friend, Wilbert Thornton of Selma; sisters, Margie Barden of Princeton, Myrna Jivatode Springfield,VA, and Barbara Fletcher of Princeton; grandchildren, Jamie Hughes, Michael Hughes and Aaron Williford; and four great grandchildren, Logan Hughes, McKalyn Hughes, Ana Hughes, and Aubrey Hughes.
