Melba Parrish Renfrow, age 81, of Princeton, passed away on September 3, 2018. Born in Johnston County on July 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George Clyde and Ruth Mitchell Parrish. Melba was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Marshall “Marty” Renfrow, a brother Doug Parrish, and a sister Linda Chastain. She was a member of Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church near Bagley.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be private.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Season Bridgette Renfrow of Pine Level and Gabriel Marshall Renfrow of Florida; her sister, Deborah Sullivan and husband Dennis of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
