Melba Stanley Hogwood, age 58, of Prince George, Virginia, formerly of Four Oaks, passed away on July 18, 2017. Born in Johnston County on November 25, 1958, she was the daughter of Allie Marie Stanley of Dunn and the late Robert Azel Stanley.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM. A private burial will be in the cemetery at Bethel Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph E. Hogwood; son Joseph Hogwood of Virginia; daughter Cathy Powell of Virginia; brother Gordon Stanley and wife Brenda of Princeton; and three grandchildren.
