Surviving include his wife of 23 years, Kim Lee Parker, step-father and mother, Walter and Jackie Blackmon Carey of Benson; sister, Lynn C. Stewart and husband, Tommy of Hampstead; special nephew, Parker Strickland of Hampstead; step-brother, Charles B. Carey of St. Louis, MO; step-sister, Stephanie Van Dresar of La Grange, TX; brother-in-law, Chris Lee and fiancé, Mandy Bragg of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Jerri Jones of Goldsboro; several nieces and nephews.
