Clayton – Michael Glen Matthews, age 38, died September 21, 2020 in Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Born August 29, 1982 in Wilson County he was a son of Ritchie Hale and Teresa Carraway Matthews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lenoyer Matthews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 26, 2020 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Daniel Lee Matthews and fiancée Victoria Pearl Rosen of Smithfield; maternal grandmother, Lillian Dale Parrish; and uncle, Roger Matthews and wife Ruth.
