SMITHFIELD – Michael Leonard Tew, age 63, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 in WakeMed Raleigh from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born October 6, 1953 in Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Tracy Leonard and Gladys Talbort Tew. Mike was an independent insurance adjuster working with Allstate Insurance Company.
The family will receive friends at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Diane Seagroves Tew; daughter, Lesley Lynch and husband Jerry of Four Oaks; brother, David Tew and wife Tammy of Hahira, GA and sister, Penny Carr and husband Randy of Morehead City.
