Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Michael Reid Brady, age 62 of 1647 Strickland’s Crossroads Road, passed away Tuesday at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Pauline Baptist Church, 501 Strickland’s Crossroads Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524. Dr. Robert Cooke will officiate.
Reid was born on November 6, 1954 in Carteret County to the late Dr. Walter Morris Brady and Delores Goosman Brady. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Carolyn Westbrook Brady. Reid was a retired office manager with Office Max. He also was a commercial diver with over 6000 water hours and attended Pauline Baptist Church.
Surviving are wife of 18 years, Darlene Guy Brady; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Bruce Maness of Raleigh; brother and sister-in-law, Walter Douglas “Doug” and Carolyn Brady of Beaufort; mother-in-law, Linda Guy of Four Oaks; step-siblings, Colin Campbell Brown, Sandra Brown Wyat, Bruce MacDonald Brown and Carol Brown Nash; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church and other times at the home of Frances Lee, 1695 Strickland’s Crossroads Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
