Smithfield- Mildred M Bunn age 99 passed away on December 16, 2019. Born May 17, 1920 to the late James and Annie Murchison in Johnston County. Mrs. Mildred is preceded in death by her Husband James Henry Bunn and her step father Paul Avera, brothers James, John, Carl, and Victor ; sisters Lorine, Loise, Doris, Pauline, and Linda. During her life she was a member of New Jerusalem Church in Selma. She also loved shopping, going to the beauty shop and singing in the church choir.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Branch Chapel Church cemetery at 2:00pm.
Mrs. Mildred is survived by her sister Peggy, many nieces and nephews and her “adopted” children George and Marie Nichols.
In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made toward funeral expenses at Parrish Funeral Home.
