Selma- Nellie Lou Patterson Buice, age 94, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born April 6, 1923 in Orlando, FL she was a daughter of the late Rufus Bass and Gladys Emealine Skeels Patterson. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles William Buice, her husband of 68 years; daughter, Patricia Ann Buice; brother, Jack Lanier Patterson; sisters, Florence Emeline Johnson and Margarette Cook. Nellie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends every chance she got. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol Lyn Buice of Selma, Paula A. Buice Pendergast and husband Mark of Asheboro, and Cheryl W. Buice Ferguson and husband Stephen of Gainesville, FL; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Mom is now at eternal peace with her heavenly family. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Charles Buice and daughter, Patricia Buice, in Riverside Cemetery in Jupiter, FL at a later date.
