SMITHFIELD – Neta Joyce Coley Williams, age 68, died Friday afternoon, June 16, 2017 in Johnston UNC Health Care. Born October 11, 1948 in Johnston County to the late John Reddin and Mattie Alice Mumford Coley, she was the widow of David Arthur Williams, who died February 4, 2015 and was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Justin Allen Williams. Joyce was a member of the Crossways Fellowship Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Surviving are her son, David Shayne Williams and wife Christy of Selma; sisters, Vicky Heath of Kenly and Ella Cook of Jacksonville; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to assist with funeral expenses.
