Coats, NC: Mr. Nicholas “Nick” John Peede, age 33, of Coats died Friday at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 3:00 PM at Coats Baptist Church. Officiating will be Revs. Neal Thornton and Jesse Mooney. Private burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Dunn.
Nick was born January 22, 1984 in Wake County to John Timothy and Kathy Strickland Peede of Coats. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, M.T. Strickland; paternal grandparents, Fleming and Catherine Peede. Nick was a 2002 graduate of Triton High School in Dunn and was employed by Food Lion. He was also a member of Coats Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents are; sister, Katie P. Jones and husband, R. J. of Angier; niece and nephew, Audrey and Trey Jones of Angier; maternal grandmother, Doris Strickland of Coats; girlfriend, Amber Barbour of Buies Creek; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home of Tim and Kathy Peede 2772 NC Hwy 27 Coats, NC 27521.
