Middlesex- Norman Junior “June Bug” Fulford, age 88, died early Thursday, September 26, 2019 in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born September 18, 1931 in Nash County he was a son of the late Richard Norman and Minnie Jeffreys Fulford. He was preceded in death by two wives, Betty Hinnant and Grace Tant; children, JoAnn Fulford Johnson, Patsy Fulford Warren, and Christopher Tommy Fulford; and brothers, Willard Fulford and Marvin Fulford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Mr. Luby Tyner, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma and at other times at the home of Scottie Johson, 971 Bagley Rd., Kenly, NC 27542.
Surviving are his sister, Helen Sledge; son-in-law, Donnie Johnson; daughter-in-law, Jeana Fulford; grandchildren, Scottie Johnson, Donna Edmonds, Brittany Holmes, and Crystal Howard; special granddaughter, Amanda Biedekapp; and great grandchildren, Jamie Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Ashley Edmonds, Brandon Holmes, Laci Holmes, and Mylae Ayscue.
