Pamela Archibald Atkinson, age 57, departed this life at her home in Dumfries, Virginia, surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born on November 6, 1960 in Smithfield, North Carolina to Elmo and Mary Archibald.
Pam was a 1978 graduate of Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. She joined the United States Army in 1978 where she served faithfully for 22 years. Pam married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Atkinson, on June 2, 2013.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memory husband; Wayne Atkinson, children; Markesha Elder, Steven Elder, Charnissa Elder, Darius Burr(Jocelyn), Danysha Burr; five grandchildren; Elijah, Cameron, Serenity, Anais, and Ivory; parents, Elmo and Mary Archibald; siblings, Carmen Archibald, Sharon Archibald, Jennifer Archibald Ray (Vincent,)and Cornelius Archibald; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Pamela Archibald-Atkinson will be held Saturday Nov. 3, 2018 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church 2017 Galilee Rd Smithfield, NC at 11:00am
