Patricia Nichols Wall, 82, of Smithfield, N.C went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 22, 2020. She was born in Johnston County on September 1, 1937 to the late Garland William Nichols and Fannie Pittman Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles Ransom Wall, Sr. who passed away on July 3, 2020
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with funeral following at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm August 26, 2020 at Knollwood Cemetery, Clayton, N.C.
Mrs. Wall was a devout Christian who had been superintendent of Sunday School, Sunday School Teacher, Auxiliary leader and numerous other positions, as well as being a current Sunday School Teacher. After graduating college, Mrs. Wall began her teaching career in grade school, then transitioned to a speech and language specialist.
Mrs. Wall truly loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Wall and her husband, Charles also volunteered at Johnston Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. The Wall family loved to get together with relatives for sharing meals and fellowship. The love and assistance given by Mr. and Mrs. Wall to their family over the years was invaluable and life changing and will always be cherished. Mrs. Wall displayed a sweet, giving spirit to everyone and will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. Wall is survived by a son, Charles (Chuck) Wall, Jr. (Susan) of Clayton, a daughter, Karen Wall Beasley, (Johnny) of Benson, a sister, Sylvia Nichols Whitley (Ray), of Smithfield, 5 grandchildren: Joshua Beasley (Tiffany), Jacob Beasley, Misty Bernabe (Ivan), Johnny Mac Beasley, Jr., Vince Clark and 10 great grandchildren.
