Miss Peggy Lee Senter, age 87, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Oak Hill Assisted Living Center in Angier, NC. Graveside Services will be held 2:00PM-Friday, January 15, 2021 at Coats City Cemetery in Coats, NC. Rev. Jesse Mooney will officiate.
Miss Senter was born on October 8, 1933 in Harnett County to the late Milton H. and Ophelia Austin Senter. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Milton H. “Buck” Senter and Louise S. Jackson. Miss Senter was a Coats High School graduate, and was the secretary of her class. She took joy in organizing their class reunions. Miss Senter was a retired accountant with 46 ½ years’ service with Coats Motor Company in Coats. She was a member of Coats Baptist Church.
Surviving include her nieces, Regina “Reggi” Jackson Powell of Cary, NC, Ainsley Jackson Powell of Raleigh, Caitlin Jackson Powell of Cary, and Rhonda Smith Sinclair of Dunn; sister, Edna Senter Smith of Dunn.
Miss Senter will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 12:00PM-5:00PM, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
Flowers are welcomed.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
