Pennie Irene Williams 75 yrs. old, passed away on July 20,
2019, at Caritas House Assisted Living Facility, Baltimore, MD. Born on April 30, 1944, to the late Emmer Louise Jackson and Lester Sims. She attended grade school in Johnston County. She was a faithful and active member of Church of God of Prophecy and First Baptist Church, Selma, NC and often attended Evangel Cathedral located in Upper Marlboro, MD. She was a wonderful homemaker, a great cook and provided love and support for her children for whatever path they decided to take. Pennie Irene Williams was
passionate about music and loved to sing church songs.
Pennie was preceded by her son, Leon Jones; her daughter, Brenda Williams; and her sister, Emmer Jackson.
She is survived by her son, Charles Jackson and his wife, Eloise Jackson of (Hanover, MD); daughter, Sarah Chism and her husband, David Chism of (Kansas); daughter, Sylvia Davis (Philadelphia); daughter, Rosalinda Williams, (Raleigh, NC); daughter, Rhonda Dunston, (Selma, NC); Pennie ‘s sister, Kay Frances Overby of Newport News, VA; one brother, Joseph Jackson Jr. of Newport News, VA; 25 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
