Selma- Ralph Waldo Edwards, age 90, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, in his home in Selma. He was born a son of the late William and Elsie Edwards on February 1, 1930, in Wake County. He is preceded in death by 11 siblings, and he was the number twelve of thirteen children. He was a member at Parrish Memorial Baptist Church in Selma for 12 years, he was well known for his fruit trees as well as his love for raising Beagle hunting dogs.
A private, family only graveside service will be held on Thursday in Selma Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Mrs. Clara Blalock Edwards; son, Steve Randall Edwards and wife Chris of Apex; daughters, Rebecca Ann Edwards of Selma, Brenda Edwards Panda and husband John of Cary; grandchildren, Jonathan Panda, Kassy Edwards, Tracey Edwards, and his sister, Edith Wallace.
