Selma – Randy (Freddie Duran) Radford, age 56 passed away Saturday November 23, 2019. Born in Johnston County April 9, 1963 to Rudolph and Joan Radford. Mr. Radford is preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Radford and cousin, Gary Radford. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home Wednesday November 27, 2019 at 7 PM. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 5 PM to 7 PM at Parrish Funeral Home. Mr. Radford is survived by fiancé, Lisa Pittman of Selma; Daughter, Christy Rouse of Smithfield; Sister, Kathy Thornton and husband Pete of Princeton; Grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, and Hope Rouse. Mr. Radford was the owner and operator of Outback Marine in Selma. He was in the top ten group of repair for Mercury motors, and was the 1st person in the state to be an authorized Mercury dealer from home. Everyone knew him as the “Boat Man”.
