Smithfield – Rebecca Carol Hamilton, age 67, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 in The Villas at Benson. Born November 21, 1949 in Johnston County she was the daughter of the late Edward Lee and Edna Powell Hamilton. Ms. Powell was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. She loved bowling and joined several bowling teams when she was able and also enjoyed many activities with Pisgah’s Joy Club.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Beasley officiating.
She is survived by many family and friends that loved her dearly.
