Ricky Lynn Stevens, age 62, of Selma passed away on October 4, 2021. Born in Johnston County on August 1, 1959, he was the son of Richard Brantley Stevens and the late Janice Avery Stevens. Ricky was a member of the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church and former Scoutmaster at Pine Level Boy Scout Troop 63.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 7, at 2:00 pm in the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Betty Sykes Stevens; son, Chason Stevens; daughters, Christina Mooneyham (Eric), Brittany Kurczek (Andrew); sister, Connie Cox (Wayne); and grandchildren, Walker Mooneyham, Keeley Mooneyham, and Avery Kurczek.
