Ricky Wayne Puryear, 57 of Clayton passed away at his home on September 1, 2019. He was born April 23, 1962 to Edward Alton Puryear and Margie Marie Mitchell Puryear. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel, 105 E. First St., Princeton, NC 27569
Ricky was a beloved father, son and brother. He loved the beach and fishing. His favorite thing was collecting Indian arrowheads with his son. Always eager to help a friend and would leave you laughing. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a son, Justin Puryear of Durham; sister, Janet Puryear of Zebulon and one grandchild.
