Garner – Robert Edward Sanders, age 53, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born on May 19, 1967, a son of Ronald Sanders and Rita Johnson Richardson in Wake County. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Sanders, and sister, Ronda Costa.
Robert worked for many years as a farrier. He had a love for motorcycles and spending time with the people he cared about. He will always be remembered for his positive attitude and adventurous spirit.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Casey Sanders; mother, Rita Johnson Richardson; brother, Kenneth Costa; nephews, Levi Wayne Costa, and Skylar Lane Costa; girlfriend, Becky Finley; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S Pollock St. Selma, NC 27576. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Falls Cemetery in Wake Forest, 12165 Old Falls of Neuse Rd. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
