Raleigh- Robert Eugene Finez, age 77, of Raleigh passed away on March 16, 2018 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Damien and Evelyn Finez. Mr. Finez served in the United States Air Force at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro. While there he met his wife, Betty Eason Finez, who passed away in 2013.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, March 22, at 2:00 PM in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his sons, Robert, David and Jon Finez, all of Raleigh; grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Zoe, Sydney and Avery; and great grandchildren, Logan, Evan, Liam and Ella.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
