Smithfield – Robert Samuel “Bob” Puckett, age 56, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born March 8, 1961 in Charleston, WV he was a son of the late William Houston and Mamie Etta Coffman Puckett. Bob worked as a Controls Installation Supervisor for Newcomb and Company. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Smithfield.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 in First FWB Church of Smithfield with Rev. Sam Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday just prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Roberta Lynn Puckett of the home; son, Eric Puckett and wife Abigail of Clayton; daughters, Brandi Howell and husband J.B. of Smithfield and Bria Puckett of the home; brother, Don Puckett and wife Yvonne of Waynesville; sisters, Lenore Clapp of Chesapeake, VA, Connie Weeks and husband Sam of Smithfield, Sherrah Puckett of Benson, and Etta Allen and husband John of Daniels, WV; and grandchildren, Makayla Howell, Noah Howell, Isaiah Howell, and Sophia Howell.
