Smithfield, NC: Mr. Ronnie Eugene Whitley, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehab in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM-Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Lee’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Ricky Ham will officiate.
Mr. Whitley was born on October 30, 1956 in Johnston County. He was a retired computer technician and also served our country in the US Air Force.
Surviving include his mother, Marie Blackman Whitley of Smithfield and his father, Alton Eugene Whitley of Selma; several aunts and uncles.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
