Smithfield – Rosemarie Carattini Ohmit, age 72, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born June 8, 1944 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Rafael and Alberta Rios Carattini. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Carattini; and brother, Ruben Carattini. Rosemarie was a member of Smithfield Church of God in Smithfield.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 in Smithfield Church of God with Rev. Ramon Mizell officiating.
Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Ann Gray and Rachel Murphy Johnson, both of California; brothers, Rafael Carattini, Jr., Jose Ramon Carattini, Raul Carattini, Daniel Carattini, and William Carattini; sisters, Reina Koll, Mercedes Reyes, Lydia Ricks, Ruth Diaz, and Dina Carattini; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
