Mr. Roy Earl Guin, age 74, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 4, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Monday, November 8, 2021at Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC. Rev. Jessie Brock will officiate.
Mr. Guin was born on April 30, 1947 in Johnston County, NC to the late Barney Henry and Ellen Guin. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Campbell and brothers, Bobby Ray Guin and David Guin. In his early years, Roy was a professional painter. He then went into construction working as a construction supervisor. He recently retired from Mouser, INC in Clayton, NC. He attended Burnell Baptist Church outside Four Oaks, NC.
Surviving include his wife of 17 years, Brenda McLamb Guin; daughters, Rhonda Ragland and husband, Russell, and Rebecca Waters and husband Todd, Tracy McNeece and Lee Davis; grandchildren, Sarah Parker, Madison Ragland, Bennett Ragland, Joseph Waters, Justin Hix, Ashlyn Hix and Brody Davis; and great-grandchildren, Adrianne Core, Averly Hix and Lukas Parker; brothers, Barney Wayne Guin, Charles Guin, Danny Guin and Billy Guin; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
